I loved this urn which wash made of plants top to bottom - no concrete or metal at all. And, it was at least 6 feet tall.
There were lots of people in the shopping areas of the city but other streets were fairly quiet so we were able to walk along and take pictures without being bothered.
We climbed all the way up to the Citadel which is the military stronghold of the city. You can see for miles around and you can see why they chose this spot for its great defence characteristics because you can see across and a long way up and down the St. Lawerence Seaway. Any ships approaching would have been visible for a long way.
Also near the top of the hill is the Chateau Frontenac (a hotel similar to the Banff Springs in its grandeur - only grander!
We got pulled over by the police in Quebec City for having the steps open while driving. The policeman was very helpful and pleasant. No ticket!
Our first night in New Brunswick was spent at Grand Falls on the west side of NB. They have a beautiful campground there right on the river and walking distance to the falls.
Here is my little motorhome at Grand Falls. It has been performing well on the journey.
